Welcome to a brand new school year!

It has been a great first week of school. The children are getting to know one another and are settling into our daily classroom routine. My students can hardly wait to meet their 8th grade buddies next week.

This month during our religion class time we are learning about the virtue of Humility.  Saint Vincent de Paul, our classroom patron saint, took this virtue to heart as he began many charitable organizations. We will observe his feast day on September 27th. The kindergarten children will bring cans of food to school and we will take them to our Holy Rosary Food Bank which is run by our own Saint Vincent de Paul Society volunteers. We will learn how these volunteers, pray for, and assist those people who are struggling within our own community.

It is wonderful to think that the work of Saint Vincent de Paul continues even today.

I look forward to a wonderful school year!
