5th Grade

We had a great time this week at Outdoor Ed! I’m sure the kids have shared some of their experiences with you by now. It was pretty tiring for sure, and thankfully now we have the weekend to catch up. Thanks once again to all the parents who came up; you were all such a help!

This coming Holy Thursday our class will be doing a re-enactment of the Last Supper for the whole school. This will be in the lunchroom at 1:45 pm. Ordinarily we don’t invite parents to this because it’s pretty tight having all of the students in there. But we can make an exception for 5th grade parents! So you are welcome to come join us. It’s really a lovely ceremony. It should take less than a half hour. If you could come early to help set up we could certainly use some assistance! We will start putting the room together right after lunch at 12:30.

This week will be doing another Virtus lesson with the class that addresses touching safety using the Protecting God’s Children program. This is mandated by the Archdiocese for all schools to be done twice yearly. If you have any questions about the program, or if you wish to opt out for your child please let me know.
