Welcome to First Grade!
Anna Olson was born and raised in Seattle, WA. Growing up, she loved school and enjoyed participating in sports and many extra curricular activities. She spent her summers during High School and College teaching Dance and Cheerleading to children and teens around the Pacific Northwest. Mrs. Olson attended Washington State University where she earned her B.A. in Psychology. After she completed her undergraduate Studies, she went on to attend the University of Washington. She studied Education and graduated with her Master’s in Teaching and obtained her K-8 Teaching Certificate. After graduation, Mrs. Olson worked in the Edmonds School District teaching Second Grade. She also spent time teaching Pre-K in a Seattle based Private School. After taking an extended break to raise her children, she returned to teaching and worked as a Substitute Teacher in the Archdiocese of Seattle Catholic Schools. She is very excited to begin her second year on the team of teachers at Holy Rosary School as the First Grade Teacher. She loves working with First Grade students and their families. She lives in Edmonds with her husband and 3 children. Her husband’s family have been members of the Parish for over 50 years and she feels blessed to be able to carry on the tradition of being an active parishioner at Holy Rosary.
